Questacon is seeking proposals for the co-design and delivery of a digital immersive exhibition themed around space. The exhibition should be experience-led, spatially immersive, and responsive to visitor movement. Key requirements include modularity, flexibility for host venues, minimal supervision post-installation, and compliance with accessibility guidelines (WCAG 2. 2 Level AA). The supplier must own intellectual property rights and consider transportability. Responses are to be lodged electronically via Austender by 3:00 PM ACT local time on Monday, 11 May 2026. Questions close on Wednesday, 6 May 2026. The contract will incorporate Commonwealth Contract Terms, which are non-negotiable. The proposed delivery date of the final digital product is Thursday, 4 March 2027, with a defects liability period of 12 months.

The customer will pay the amount of a correctly rendered invoice within five (5) calendar days if e-invoicing is used and agreed, or within twenty (20) calendar days in all other circumstances, after receiving it, or if this day is not a business day, on the next business day.
The defects liability period commences on acceptance of completion of delivery of the digital content and ends 12 months from the date of acceptance.
The customer will evaluate all valid responses received by the ATM closing time that meet the minimum content and format requirements and the conditions for participation to determine which potential supplier has proposed the best value for money outcome for the customer.
Potential suppliers are required to comply with all requirements set out in the Commonwealth Approach to Market Terms and, if successful, agree to enter into a contract which incorporates the Commonwealth Contract Terms.
Unless otherwise notified by an addendum, there are no site inspections for this ATM.
If a potential supplier wishes to seek an injunction under the GPJR Act, the application for the injunction must be lodged within 10 days after the day on which the potential supplier became aware, or ought reasonably to have become aware, of the relevant contravention of the Commonwealth Procurement Rules.
