The Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications, Sport and the Arts is seeking a codesign partner to develop Australia's first national media literacy strategy. The closing date for submissions is March 13, 2026. The contract is expected to start on March 25, 2026, and end on December 20, 2027, with two optional extension periods of three months each. The successful tenderer will need to have specialist media literacy expertise and experience, including a demonstrated understanding of media literacy competencies across Australia. The supplier must comply with the Commonwealth Code of Conduct. The customer will pay the amount of a correctly rendered invoice to the supplier within five 5 calendar days after receiving it, or if this day is not a business day, on the ext business day. In all other circumstances following receipt of a correctly rendered invoice, including acceptance of the goods andor services by the customer, the customer will pay the amount of a correctly rendered invoice to the supplier within twenty 20 calendar days after receiving it, or if this day is not a business day, on the next business day. The supplier must seek written consent from the customer prior to and in relation to a proposed use of artificial intelligence ai to perform work under the contract and any uses that the customer has not consented to are not permitted. The supplier will be required to attend meetings as follows: Inception meeting, Progress meetings, Consultation sessions, Development of the strategy planning meeting, Completion and handover meeting with department, Optional ministerial briefing.
The contract will cease on Monday, 20 December 2027.

The customer will evaluate all valid responses received by the atm closing time item a. a. 1 that meet the minimum content and format requirements and the conditions for participation if any, to determine which potential supplier has proposed the best value for money outcome for the customer.

Unless otherwise notified by an addendum, there are no site inspections for this atm.
