The tender is for environmental support secondment services for the Northern Territory Government. The closing date is February 18, 2026. The contract period is 24 months with possible extensions. The successful consultant will provide expert advice on environmental matters related to construction projects. The consultant will be required to attend the DLI office for a minimum of 3 normal working days per week, totaling 22. 8 hours per week. Travel to sites may be required. Invoices must detail the number of hours worked on each project. The department will determine if the works completed are satisfactory prior to approving payment of invoices.
The delivery of services under this contract will be in accordance with project-by-project approvals which includes detail of the approved/allocated hours for each activity.
Invoices are to be accompanied by a spreadsheet detailing the number of hours worked on each project by each seconded staff member. The department will determine if the works completed are satisfactory prior to approving payment of invoices.
The assessment criteria weightings are: price 10, past performance 30, local content 40, and capacity 20.
The successful consultant will be required to provide expert, objective, accurate and timely professional advice to DLI environment and sustainability unit, project managers and NTG client agencies on environmental matters relating to the construction industry.
The department will, in accordance with the conditions of contract, hold the consultant responsible for rectifying/correcting unsatisfactory written works.
A provisional sum of 50,**** has been provided within the schedule of rates for meals, accommodation, flights etc.
