Destination NSW seeks a contractor to coordinate and deliver Head of Programming Partnerships services for Vivid Sydney 2027 and 2028. The role covers minds, music, food pillars, and partnerships, including budget and team management. Responses must be submitted via the Buy NSW website by 23 September 2026 at 3 pm. Evaluation considers non-price criteria (experience, project management, commercial acumen) and price (fees and charges). The successful contractor will enter a contract of engagement with Destination NSW.
The service period includes multiple phases, such as 5 days per week from **** to **** for Period 1.
The payment schedule will be based upon a schedule for delivery of the services with payments made against milestones achieved.
Responses will be assessed against evaluation criteria including nonprice criteria like a demonstrated experience leading and delivering largescale, complex cultural or major events and price criteria.
Responses must be submitted by a legal entity with the capacity to enter into a binding agreement and must have an Australian Business Number.
If the contractor does not perform the services required, the contractor is not entitled to receive any further payments and must repay payments made.
The respondent shall undertake site inspections regarding its response at its own cost if invited by Destination NSW.
The deadline for rfq clarification requests is 3:00pm, Wednesday, 16 September 2026.
Responses may be excluded if noncompliant, failing to meet evaluation criteria, or posing operational, financial, reputational, legal, or WHS risk.
