The Berri Barmera Council is seeking tenders for road reconstruction and culvert installation on Lyrup Road. A mandatory briefing session will be held on March 18, 2026. Tenders must be submitted electronically by April 2, 2026. The council aims to stimulate the use of local suppliers and recycled materials. The tender includes requirements for traffic management, site preparation, earthworks, pavement, drainage, and site restoration. The successful tenderer must comply with work health and safety requirements. The council will consider factors such as price, local economic benefit, and environmental sustainability in evaluating tenders.
The services are required to be completed by 18 september 2026.
The tender requires the tenderers to detail any extended warranties offered, including any conditions and/or exclusions.
In assessing tenders, the council will have regard to, but not necessarily be limited to, the following criteria: use of recycled materials and environmentally sustainable initiatives, he tendered prices, including the proposed pricing structure, he level of risk associated with negotiation of an acceptable agreement for services, environmental management and quality management systems, local economic benefit and social inclusion, details of current and previous relevant experience in the provision of services similar to the services, staff resources, he provision of any aspect of the services by subcontractors, imeframe for completion of the services, current and future agreements/workload and capacity to deliver the services, warranties and guarantees on the services, degree of compliance with the requirements set out in this rft and the tender documents and such other matters that the council considers relevant, which may include, but are not limited to: a the tenderers insurance arrangements. b the tenderers compliance with work, health, and safety requirements and c the tenderers financial resources.
Each tenderer must if applicable be licensed or registered to perform the services.
A site visit is a prerequisite to submission and consideration of a bid.
