Western Power is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for Reliability and System Strength Services for the North Country. These services are required to address reliability and system strength concerns during planned or unplanned outage events affecting the 132 kV transmission lines supplying the North Country. Prospective providers can offer solutions for reliability services, system strength services, or both. Innovative non-network solutions are encouraged. A draft Ncess Service Specification and EOI Submission Form are available, and proponents are encouraged to submit pricing. Queries can be submitted via email or the vendorpanel portal. Western Power's assessment of value for money is a balanced judgement of a range of financial and non-financial factors, taking into account whole of life costs, environment, quality, fitness for purpose, WHS, supplier capability, availability of maintenance, service and support, sustainability impacts, governments social and economic objectives, and risks.
The selection criteria include a valid submission, compliance with the service specification, evidenced delivery, environmental approvals, project methodology, technical capabilities, Western Australian industry participation plan, and value for money.
In the event the service is unavailable, there will be a reduction in payments by Western Power depending on the duration of the unavailability.

Failure to provide required information regarding delivery dates, project delivery details, risk registers, environmental approvals, project methodology, or technical capabilities will result in exclusion from the evaluation process.
