The Macedon Ranges Shire Council is inviting proposals for the supply, installation, and commissioning of sports lighting at Dixon Field Oval 2 soccer pitch. The tender closes on March 2, 2026, at 2:00 PM. A non-mandatory site inspection is scheduled for February 16, 2026. Enquiries must be made through the online forum. The project is expected to commence on March 6, 2026, and be completed before April 30, 2026. The contract will be awarded based on the best value for money.
The project is expected to be completed before 30th of april 2026.
The council shall pay for successfully completed contract works within 30 days from receipt of an invoice.
The contractor warrants that where within 12 months of the completion of the works, any defect arises other than from reasonable fair wear and tear in relation to the works performed by the contractor, the contractor shall promptly upon receipt of written notice thereof from the council, at its own cost rectify the defect or reexecute or make good anything not properly performed.
The contract will be awarded on the basis of he best value for money, the most benefit to the community and the greatest advantage to council.
Tenders are invited from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to undertake this contract.
If the works are not completed by the date for practical completion of the contract, the superintendent shall certify as due and payable to the council, liquidated damages in the amount referenced in item 17 of the schedule, for every day after the end date of the contract, until the works are completed to councils satisfaction.
Pretender site inspection is onmandatory.
