Macedon Ranges Shire Council is seeking quotations for the supply, delivery, and installation of three modular buildings (two player change rooms and one amenity building) at the Macedon Ranges Sports Precinct. The project includes design coordination, civil works, service connections, fit-out, and commissioning. Tenders close on Tuesday, 9th June 2026, at 2:00 PM. A non-mandatory pre-tender site inspection is scheduled for Friday, 22nd May 2026, at 10:00 AM. Submissions must be lodged electronically via VendorPanel. The project aims for practical completion by August 2026. The contractor is required to provide a works programme highlighting material lead times and any variances from indicative milestone dates.
Council shall pay for successfully completed contract works within 30 days from receipt of an invoice, submitted by the contractor at the end of each calendar month.
The contractor shall provide a suitable warranty on all parts, materials, and workmanship, which will be in addition to standard product warranties. During the defects period, the contractor shall repair or replace or make good defects or failures within 14 days of notification.
Tender responses will be evaluated based on price (40%), relevant experience (30%), methodology (10%), compliance with the specification (10%), environmental benefit (5%), and social benefit (5%).
Tenders are invited from suitably qualified and experienced contractors. Tenderers must demonstrate their qualifications, skill, and experience, including previous contracts of a similar nature.
If the contractor fails to reach practical completion by the date for practical completion, the contractor shall be indebted to the principal for liquidated damages at the rate of $550 per day.
A non-mandatory pre-tender site inspection is scheduled for Friday, 22nd May 2026, at 10:00 AM. Attendance must be registered via VendorPanel.
Enquiries must be submitted by no later than exactly one week prior to the closing time date. Questions or enquiries will not be accepted after this time.
Any tenderer who directly or indirectly seeks to obtain an advantage by canvassing support from a councillor or member of council's staff, or a member of the evaluation panel, will be disqualified.
