Revegetation Tenders

The closing time for tenders is 2pm, Tuesday 26 May 2026. The anticipated contract commencement date is 4 August 2026.

Conforming tenders will be assessed against qualitative criteria including company experience, personnel experience, methodology, quality assurance, programming, timing, and local support. Price will be considered separately.

Tenderers must be suitably qualified and experienced contractors with demonstrated capability in naturalised wetland construction, environmentally sensitive civil works, erosion and sediment control, and landscape establishment. The tenderer must hold the appropriate QBCC licence covering the required scope of works.

A mandatory site inspection is scheduled, with an hour allowed. The date is to be advised (TBA). an hour has been allowed for the site inspection and is subject to attendance and inspection time taken.

Tenders may be rejected if lodgement is not by the closing time, if they do not comply in every respect with the RFT documents, or if they seek to include the tenderer's own conditions of offer or contract. a tender: i where lodgement did not occur by the closing time as required by clause 7. 1 ii. which does not comply in every respect with the requirements of the rft documents including these rft conditions iii. which does not comply with all applicable regulatory requirements, standards and government policies or iv. which seeks to include the tenderers own conditions of offer or conditions of contract, may be treated as nonconforming and rejected andor not considered regardless of the reason for the late lodgement or the nonconformance.

Tenders will be evaluated based on mandatory criteria including insurance and demonstrated management systems, and weighted criteria for capability (45%), experience (40%), and social and community factors (15%). The evaluation panel will consider each tender using a mandatory and weighted assessment evaluation criteria outlined in the tables below. Mandatory criteria. . . Tenderers must be suitably qualified and experienced companies/organisations with the capability as principal contractor to construct and manage switchboard and associated minor renewals. Unauthorised communication with council staff or canvassing of councillors or staff may lead to disqualification. Unauthorised communication with other staff of council may lead to disqualification of the tender. Canvassing of councillors or staff in relation to the award of this contract will automatically disqualify a tenderer.
