Industrial Water Tenders

Barraba, Kootingal and Nundle pool works must be completed by 31 July 2026. Remaining pool sites must be completed by 1 September 2026.

All workmanship is to be completed by suitably qualified and licensed personnel. Any defects in workmanship identified within 12 months of completion are to be rectified by the contractor at no additional cost to council.

Council will assess submissions based on: demonstrated experience and capability, ability to complete works within the required timeframes, value for money and service quality.

Contractors are deemed to have satisfied themselves regarding site access, lifting constraints and plant room conditions prior to submission. Site access is to be coordinated directly with the relevant pool supervisor with a minimum of 24 hours notice.

The principal shall pay the amount due to the supplier if any including any applicable gst before the end of the payment period. The contractor warrants that the works will be carried out in a good, proper and workmanlike manner and in accordance with the scope of works, complying with all legislative requirements and being of good, merchantable quality, free from defects and fit for their purpose.

The contractor must be experienced in the installation and commissioning of membrane racks and modules.

A non-mandatory tender briefing is being held on Thursday, 4 June 2026, at 10:00 am at Whitsunday Regional Council's Bowen Administration Building. PPE is required to attend this site.
