Council has identified a preferred completion date of early April 2027, coinciding with the end of daylight saving, to accommodate the operational requirements of the West Broken Hill Football Club for the 2027 football season. Tenderers are requested to consider opportunities to expedite project delivery to achieve this timeframe.

The principal shall make a payment within thirty days from the end of the month in which the claim is received, but if the principal requests access to information required to substantiate the claim, the time for payment shall be extended by the number of days elapsing between the date of the principals request and the date access to the information if granted.

The principal will accept the tender which, having regard to all the circumstances, appears to be the most advantageous. Selection criteria include lump sum price, technical methodology and compliance, up to date list of comparable completed projects, WHS management, quality control and assurance, environmental management, personnel, compliance with statutory requirements, and statement outlining financial capability.

Tenderers will be required to demonstrate in their tender that they have the necessary resources, skills, experience, financial capacity, insurances, licences and accreditations etc, to fulfil the tender requirements. Where an act requires that a contractor be registered or licenced to carry out the work, the tenderer shall state its registration or licence number.

Attendance at this meeting is not mandatory. Tenderers are requested to attend a tender briefing site inspection on Tuesday, 10 November 2026 at 1pm. The location of the meeting is Bill Renfrew Sportsground, **** Wills Street, Broken Hill NSW ****.

Canvassing of councillors and council staff other than the principals nominated contact officer at any stage up to and including the acceptance of tenders may automatically disqualify the tenderer.
