Fraser Coast Regional Council is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) for a beach nourishment project. This involves sand extraction from Dayman Spit and placement along the Hervey Bay foreshore. A briefing or site inspection is mandatory for this EOI. It will take place on Thursday, 30 July 2026, from 10:30 am to 3:00 pm, starting at Council's Ellengowan St Depot and including site visits to Urangan Pier, Dayman Spit, Torquay Jetty, and Scarness Jetty. Failure to register an EOI will prevent participation in the tender process. Non-conforming or incomplete responses may not be evaluated. Failure to attend the mandatory briefing or ensure a representative attends will result in disqualification.
