This is a Request for Tender (RFT) for the replacement of stormwater drainage pipes at Stage 2 of the Ocean View Caravan Park in Onslow, Western Australia. The project involves replacing existing 100 DN PVC pipes with 225 DN and 300 DN pipes and connecting them to the existing ocean outfall. The deadline for tender submissions is 2:00 PM Western Standard Time (WST) on Thursday, 4th June 2026. Tenders must be submitted electronically via VendorPanel. A formal site inspection will not be held, but tenderers are encouraged to visit and inspect the site. The Shire of Ashburton is not bound to accept the lowest or any tender. The contract may be awarded based on a best value for money approach, considering price, qualitative, and compliance criteria. Tenderers must comply with all conditions of tendering and provide all requested information, including details on their financial position, insurance, quality assurance, and work health and safety management systems. The contract is expected to be executed in accordance with Australian Standard AS **** Minor Works General Conditions of Contract. Progress claims are to be submitted on the 28th day of each month for work done to the 25th day of that month.
The defects liability period is 52 weeks from practical completion.
The contract may be awarded to a sole tenderer who best demonstrates the ability to provide quality products and/or services at a competitive price, with the principal adopting a best value for money approach.
Tenderers must be suitably qualified and experienced contractors. They must provide details of their organisational profile, financial position, insurance details, quality assurance, and work health and safety management systems.
No formal site inspection will be held as tenderers are able to view the site at any stage. Tenderers are encouraged to visit and inspect the site before submitting a tender.
A tender may be rejected without consideration of its merits if it is not submitted before the deadline, not submitted at the specified place, or fails to comply with any other requirements of the request.
