Wentworth Ave /Page St Intersection and Cycleway Construction - Overview of Request Bayside Council is seeking suitably qualified contractors to deliver the construction of a new shared pedestrian and cyclist path at the intersection of Wentworth Avenue and Page Street, Pagewood ( NSW). The project aims to improve pedestrian and cyclist safety, accommodate increased local development, and upgrade associated intersection infrastructure without impacting existing trees where possible. Construction of shared pedestrian and cyclist path Construction of approximately 790m of new shared path across page street and wentworth avenue. Intersection upgrades including bicycle lanterns, bicycle crossings, crossing widening, kerb ramps, linemarking, and modifications to median islands. Traffic signal adjustments, installation of new lanterns, relocation of signal equipment and controller, and compliance with tfnsw signalisation requirements. Driveway tieins, kerb works, asphalt resurfacing, and service adjustments as required. Replacement of bus stop furniture and installation of signage and pavement markings. Tree planting, including installation of 18 new replacement trees and 12month maintenance. Site establishment, environmental controls, protection of existing assets, surveys, investigations, and documentation cemp, tcps, whs plans, itps, dilapidation reports. Handover documentation, including worksasexecuted drawings, certification, and surveys.
