The Australian War Memorial is seeking maintenance services for electronic security systems. The contract will be for four years with an option to extend for up to five additional years. Tenders must be lodged electronically via Austender by 2pm local time in Canberra, ACT on Friday, 28 August 2026. Tenderers must be Gallagher high security certified channel partners and ensure all cablers are registered with an approved registrar. All personnel must undergo background screening and security clearance (NV1 or NV2). The services include inspections, priority and emergency callouts, a dedicated client service manager, monthly site meetings, and maintenance of spare parts. Reporting requirements include maintenance inspection reports, asset register updates, and monthly meeting reports. Key performance indicators include response times for service calls, timeliness of inspections, invoicing accuracy, and minimal downtime.

Quoted works, both minor and projects, must include a 12 months defects liability period.
The Memorial will evaluate tenders on the basis of overall best value for money consistent with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules CPRs.
Tenderers must be a current Gallagher high security certified channel partner. All employees specified personnel of the tenderer must maintain currency of any legal requirement to hold a valid and current security license under the Security Industry Act **** ACT. All specified personnel must undertake basic background screening via the national police check process and be security cleared to either NV1 or NV2.
The Memorial may, at its sole discretion, require the tenderer to host a site visit. The Memorial may, at its sole discretion, require the tenderer to give a presentation regarding its tender, attend an interview and/or host a site visit to the tenderer's premises or other premises where the requirement will be provided.
All enquiries in relation to this RFT must be submitted no later than 5:00pm Canberra, ACT, local time on Friday, 21 August 2026.
Tenders which are not properly submitted before the closing time (late tenders) will not be accepted unless the tender lodgement is late solely as a consequence of mishandling by the Memorial. The Memorial may exclude from further consideration any tender lodged by a tenderer that has engaged in unethical or improper conduct.
