Tender for the supply and delivery of one road maintenance machine to Yorke Peninsula Council. Tenders must be lodged electronically via SA Tenders and Contracts by 2:00 PM Adelaide time on Monday, 28 July 2026. The machine must comply with Australian Design Rules, be road registrable in South Australia, and include features like an incab control system, front-mounted boom assembly, and an aggregate hopper. Training for council operators and maintenance staff is required. The council reserves the right to reject any tender, negotiate terms, or amend the RFT. Evaluation criteria include tendered prices, customer service experience, environmental initiatives, and local economic benefit.

Tenderers must detail any extended warranties offered, including any conditions and/or exclusions outside of the standard twelve (12) month warranty.
The council will have regard to, but not necessarily be limited to, use of recycled materials, customer service experience, tendered prices, risk associated with agreement negotiation, environmental and quality management systems, local economic benefit, experience, staff resources, use of subcontractors, timeframe for completion, current and future agreements, warranties, degree of compliance, and other relevant matters.
Tenderers must be licensed or registered to perform the goods, if applicable. They must also demonstrate financial capacity and provide details of insurance, WHS compliance, and relevant experience.
Tenders lodged by any other means than electronically via SA Tenders and Contracts will not be considered. Failure to respond to or meet any of the requirements set out in this RFT and the tender documents will result in the tender being deemed a nonconforming tender.
