The Town of Port Hedland is seeking tenders for the construction of Stage 2 of the Kingsford Smith Business Park subdivision. This project involves civil works, including bulk earthworks, underground power and telecommunications, and associated infrastructure for 7 small to medium-sized business lots. A mandatory briefing and site inspection will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at 11:00 AM WST at the Infrastructure Operations Centre, 46 Cajarina Road, Wedgefield. Submissions must be made online through VendorPanel by 3:00 PM WST on Wednesday, July 1, 2026. Tenderers must inform themselves of all conditions and risks. The contract may be awarded based on a best value for money approach, considering price, quality, and compliance.

Progress claims are to be issued monthly by the 3rd day of each month for work completed in the month prior.
A defect liability period of 12 months from the date of practical completion is required.
The contract may be awarded to a single tenderer who best demonstrates the ability to provide quality products and/or services at a competitive price, using a best value for money approach.
Tenderers must demonstrate relevant experience, capacity to deliver resources, and a clear understanding of the methodology. Mandatory and compliance criteria must also be met.
Liquidated damages are set at $735 per day.
Attendance at the briefing and site inspection on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at 11:00 AM WST is mandatory. Failure to attend will render the tenderer ineligible.
Supplier query cutoff is Monday, June 29, 2026, at 4:00 AM E. South America Standard Time.
Responses may be rejected if submitted after the deadline, not submitted at the specified place, or if mandatory criteria are not met. Failure to attend the mandatory briefing/site inspection will also lead to disqualification.
