Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service (GCHHS) is issuing an Expression of Interest (EOI) for industry-proposed solutions to address the delayed discharge of older patients who no longer require acute medical care but cannot access timely residential aged care. GCHHS is seeking market input on medium to long-term solutions, which may include infrastructure, service delivery, or integrated models. The EOI is a non-binding market sounding process to inform future procurement activities and will not result in a contract award. Submissions are due by 29 June 2026 and must be lodged electronically. A market briefing will be held online on 1 June 2026. Suppliers must complete and return Section 2 of the EOI response. Evaluation criteria include capability, experience, capacity, timeframe for delivery, duration, commercial terms, accreditation, and risk mitigation.
The closing date for submissions is Monday, 29 June 2026, at 5:00 pm.
The supplier warrants that neither it nor its personnel have engaged in any collusive, anticompetitive or similar conduct in connection with the EOI process.
Submissions will be evaluated against criteria including capability and experience, capacity of the solution, timeframe for delivery, duration, key commercial terms, accreditation/licensing, and risks and constraints.
Suppliers must be suitably qualified organisations and provide evidence of relevant experience and capability in delivering similar infrastructure and/or services.
The customer may request suppliers to conduct site visits as part of the evaluation process.
The supplier query cutoff date is Monday, 15 June 2026, at 4:00 pm.
The customer may disqualify a supplier if it believes the supplier has breached any warranty, including those related to anticompetitive conduct or conflicts of interest.
