ASIC is establishing a standing offer arrangement for process server services. The arrangement will be available for use by all Commonwealth entities. Suppliers must demonstrate capabilities in servicing nominated ASIC locations, remote locations, and outside business hours, as well as meeting security and cyber security requirements. Capacity to meet service levels, payment, reporting, and nominated representative requirements is also crucial. Evaluation will be based on capability, capacity, and price. A statement of tax record and a foreign ownership, control or influence (FOCI) questionnaire are required. The closing date for submissions is 25 August 2026.
Same day of collection from ASIC for priority delivery, within 24 hours for urgent delivery, within 5 business days for standard metropolitan area delivery, and within 10 business days for standard remote area delivery.
The supplier should include the capacity for credit card functionality, any fees involved in credit card payments and any online portals used. Quarterly reports on performance against service levels are required.
The evaluation criteria will be based on capability (60%), capacity (30%), and price (10%).
Suppliers must demonstrate the resources and prior experience to meet the required capabilities. They must also agree to meet service levels, credit card functionality, quarterly reporting, and nominated representative obligations.
Questions will be permitted up until 5:00 pm AEST, Tuesday 18 August 2026.
ASIC may exclude a supplier if there are major risks identified in their response, including risks inherent in the response, financial viability, conflicts of interest, compliance with ATM terms, cyber and protective security, insurance levels, or any other identified risk.
The total average cost in the past was about $58,000 plus GST per annum.
