Defence intends to conduct a two-stage procurement process to engage two early contractor involvement head contract (ECIHC) contractors for the remediation of strategic infrastructure and accommodation of future capability requirements at the Royal Australian Navy's (RAN) Garden Island Defence Precinct (GIDP) Chowder Bay DFIM site. The first stage involves an Invitation to Register (ITR) expected in mid to late August 2025 on Austender (www. ***. *. *). Potential respondents must demonstrate their capacity to perform the activities of an ECIHC and deliver large-scale infrastructure and building upgrades, including fuel systems. The Murray-Darling Basin Authority (MDBA) is seeking proposals for the review of technical components of the sustainable diversion limit (SDL) assessment.
