This is an Approach to Market (ATM) for the provision of natural gas and associated account management services to multiple Commonwealth agencies in Australia. The proposed start date for the contract is 1 July 2026, with an initial term of one year and options to extend for four additional one-year periods, not exceeding a total of 5 years.
The bid notice states that the Commonwealth must pay the amount of a correctly rendered invoice to the supplier within twenty (20) calendar days after receiving it, or on the next business day if that day is not a business day.
Responses will be evaluated based on the extent to which the potential supplier's response meets the customer's requirements, the supplier's demonstrated capability and capacity, and the whole of life costs to be incurred by the customer.
Potential suppliers must hold the requisite gas authorisation retail licence as issued by the Australian Energy Regulator and all other regulatory approvals pertinent to the retail supply of gas.
The bid notice mentions that if any outage exceeds 3 hours, the supplier shall provide a written incident report within two business days. Failure to meet customer service response time KPIs on more than 3 occasions in any quarter will require the supplier to submit a corrective action report.
A site inspection is not applicable for this Approach to Market.
