Gladstone Ports Corporation (GPC) is inviting tenders for an Exclusive Harbour Towage Licence (EHTL) for a 10-year term. The successful tenderer will be the sole provider of towage services for commercial shipping in the Port of Gladstone. Key requirements include ensuring safe, reliable, and continuous towage operations, minimizing costs to port users, and meeting GPC's technical and environmental standards. A starting fleet of eleven tugs with specific capabilities is outlined. Bidders must submit tenders by July 9, 2026. A mandatory site inspection will be held on April 16, 2026. Prior to receiving the tender package, all bidders must sign and return a confidentiality deed poll within 5 business days of the invitation date. The award of the licence is subject to GPC board approval and ACCC notification.
