The Department of Sport, Racing and Olympic and Paralympic Games (DSROP G) is seeking offers for sport venues security services across five venues in Queensland. A mandatory briefing session is required for all suppliers wishing to submit an offer. Offers must be submitted electronically by 2pm AEST on 19 June 2026. The evaluation will not be based on price alone, with mandatory criteria including insurance, licensing, and personnel checks. Suppliers must attend specific briefing sessions for the venues they wish to quote for.
Offers must be lodged by 2pm Australian Eastern Standard Time on Friday 19 June 2026.
The customer is not evaluating offers on the sole criterion of price. The criteria against which the suppliers offer will be evaluated includes mandatory criteria such as insurance, licensing, personnel checks, quoting structure, and past contract examples.
Suppliers must hold a current Queensland security firm licence class 1, and all security personnel must hold a current Queensland unarmed security officer licence. Personnel must have completed a criminal history check and hold a valid blue card (or have applications progressed).
It is mandatory for suppliers to attend the briefing sessions at the specified venues to submit an offer.
The closing date for questions is Friday 12 June 2026, 2pm.
The customer may disqualify a supplier if they breach any warranty, including those related to anti-competitive conduct, conflict of interest, or accuracy of information.
