Balranald Shire Council is seeking quotations for the supply and delivery of a current model agricultural tractor with a front-end loader to replace an existing unit. The new machine must meet or exceed the performance, reliability, safety, and operator comfort of the current tractor. The scope includes the tractor, loader, installation, delivery, commissioning, testing, operator familiarisation, manuals, warranty, and fitting of specified accessories. An optional trade-in valuation for the existing tractor is also invited. Quotations must be submitted electronically via VendorPanel or email by Wednesday, 19 August 2026, 4:00 PM AEST. Evaluation criteria include compliance with specifications, value for money, warranty, after-sales support, delivery timeframe, and local service capability. Respondents must hold a valid ABN, be registered for GST, and be authorised dealers or approved suppliers.
Quotations must be received before the closing date and time: Wednesday, 19 August 2026, 4:00 PM AEST. The machine shall be delivered fully assembled, fuelled, tested and ready for immediate operation.
Suppliers shall provide details of manufacturers warranty period, powertrain warranty, loader warranty, service intervals, breakdown response arrangements, spare parts availability, nearest authorised service provider, and ongoing service support capability.
Quotations will be evaluated against: Compliance with specification (40%), Value for money (30%), Warranty and after sales support (15%), Delivery timeframe (10%), Local service capability (5%).
Respondents must hold a valid Australian Business Number (ABN), be registered for GST, be authorised dealers or approved suppliers of the proposed equipment, and have the financial capacity to undertake the supply requirements. Council may request evidence of public liability insurance, workers compensation insurance, relevant licences and certifications, supplier references, and financial capability.
The existing Challenger MT545 tractor with front end loader will be available for inspection by appointment. Requests for inspection shall be directed to Quenten Graham.

Council reserves the right to reject any submission where the respondent is considered unsuitable or unable to demonstrate adequate capability. Late quotations may not be considered.
