This Request for Tender (RFT) is for Vertical Transportation Maintenance services at Melbourne Park. The scope includes planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, and event standby services for elevators and escalators. A comprehensive IoT package is required for real-time monitoring and reporting. The contract duration is three years with an option to extend for two additional one-year periods. Key dates include RFT issuance on 15th May 2026, closing for questions on 8th June 2026, and RFT closing on 11th June 2026 at 4pm AEST. Offers must be submitted electronically via the Buying for Victoria portal. Mandatory requirements include compliance with the Supplier Code of Conduct, financial viability, and OHS management. Evaluation criteria include experience, capability, technical and competency, and commercial offer. The RFT documents include specifications, conditions of RFT, proposed contract, and offer response schedules.
The RFT closing date is 11th June 2026, with a closing time of 4pm AEST.
The service provider shall maintain the elevator and escalator and services provided in accordance with the following key performance indicators (KPIs) for this agreement, including KPI 10 which relates to complying with elevator and escalator availability requirements.
Melbourne Park will assess the total commercial and value for money represented by each offer, including any alternate offers submitted. This assessment will take into account the evaluation of the commercial offer, technical and competency criteria, and risk assessed criteria.
Offers must meet the requirements of the following criteria: Service provider code of conduct commitment letter, financial viability and insurance, OHS management, industrial relations management, and compliance with specification.
For each and every breach of each of the KPIs defined in section C. 2 above, Melbourne Park shall be entitled to a credit of its account in the month following the occurrence, and this credit shall be $250.
Melbourne Park may hold briefing sessions or individual clarification sessions at the locations and times specified in item error reference source not found. of part a if applicable. A tenderer must attend the session if it is specified as mandatory.
The end of the period for questions or requests for information is 5pm AEST, 8th June 2026.
Failure to comply with the requirements set out in Part A or Part B will, at the absolute discretion of Melbourne Park, entitle Melbourne Park to disqualify a tenderer from the RFT process.
