Council is seeking a contractor to collect and process concrete, bricks, tile, asphalt, and plasterboard from the BRRC for beneficial reuse. The contractor will provide skip bins (preferred size 10m3) for collection and transport material to a licensed recycling facility on an as-needs basis. The contract commences on July 13, 2026, with an initial term of 2 years and a renewal option of 1 year. Invoices are to be submitted monthly. Incident reports are required within 1 hour of an incident, with a formal written report within 3 days. Monthly KPI reports are also required. Price adjustments for fuel costs are applicable under specific conditions. Insurance requirements include public liability ($20,000,000), workers compensation, motor vehicle third party property insurance ($20,000,000), and professional indemnity insurance. The contractor must comply with WHS and environmental legislation. Dispute resolution involves good faith negotiation and mediation. The contract may be terminated by the principal under certain conditions, including contractor default or conviction of relevant offences.
The contract commences on July 13, 2026. The contractor must deliver goods and/or services at the places specified in the tender documentation or as subsequently advised by the principal.
The contractor is to submit to council a monthly invoice within 7 days of the end of the month. Payment will be made in accordance with an accepted payment claim, subject to early settlement discount if applicable.
The contractor warrants that it has the necessary skills, experience, qualifications, resources, capacity, and know-how to provide the goods and/or services and that any goods will be of acceptable quality and fit for purpose.
The contractor must ensure its personnel are suitably qualified to provide the goods and/or services and allocate sufficient personnel and resources.
If the contractor fails to undertake agreed corrective action, the principal may terminate the contract with immediate effect. Failure to comply with insurance obligations may result in the principal withholding payment.
The principal or its representatives have the right to enter upon the premises of the contractor to inspect the circumstances of the supply of the goods and/or services after giving reasonable notice.
Supplier queries must be submitted by Monday 15 June 2026, 01:00 am E. South America Standard Time.
The principal may terminate the contract if the contractor is convicted of any offence relevant to its obligations, fails to rectify serious breaches, assigns rights or subcontracts without consent, or becomes bankrupt.
