This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for a supplier agreement for cooling tower maintenance services for Broken Hill City Council. The services include water treatment for closed and open loop heating and cooling water systems at two council premises. Key requirements include monthly water testing (in a NATA certified laboratory), chemical and biocide dosing, cooling tower cleaning, reporting, and preparing a risk management plan. The agreement is for 36 months with an option to extend for 12 months. Respondents must demonstrate necessary resources, skills, experience, financial capacity, insurances, licenses, and accreditations. Submissions must be made via the Vendor Panel portal by Friday, 3 April 2026, at 3 pm ACST. A site visit is available upon request.
The supplier agreement is for a 36-month duration, commencing 1 May 2026 to 30 April 2029, with an option to extend for another 12 months.
Council shall be granted a 30-day account. Payment will be made electronically into your nominated bank account based on a 30-day payment cycle, subject to a valid tax invoice being submitted.
The decision of council in relation to a quotation will be final and not subject to challenge, dispute, explanation or further correspondence.
Respondents will be required to demonstrate in their quotation that they have the necessary resources, skills, experience, financial capacity, insurances, licenses and accreditations etc to fulfil the quotation requirements.
Council reserves the right to terminate whole or part of the agreement should the supplied goods/services prove to be unacceptable quality, the supplier fail to adhere to relevant Council policies and plans or obey reasonable directions, or the supplier fail to deliver goods according to specifications.
