Activity Tenders

Tenders must be submitted by Thursday, 06 August 2026, 02:00 PM EST.

Tenders will be evaluated based on compliance with mandatory criteria, capability, experience, technical expertise, resourcing, methodology, safety, administration, commercial capability, quality, ESG, and price. Preference will be given to submissions with no departures from GPC contract terms.

Bidders must confirm they currently have or will have concrete remediation works under way within the immediate Gladstone region (within 100km of Gladstone) during the works.

Attendance at the site inspection is mandatory and will be held on 8th July 2026 at 9:30 AM at Queensland Alumina Limited, report to front gate security office. Bidders must confirm their intention to attend at least 48 hours prior.

Supplier query cutoff is Tuesday, 04 August 2026, 01:00 AM EST.

Failure to comply with submission instructions, including file name length limits and completing highlighted sections, may result in the bid being deemed non-conforming and excluded from evaluation.

Works are scheduled between September and November 2026, with completion required by 13 November 2026.

The evaluation criteria and weightings are: capability and experience 25%, methodology 20%, social and economic factors 20%, price 35%.

Tenders are invited from qualified and experienced contractors.

Roads selected for re-sheeting and associated works are identified through engineering assessments and on-site inspections.

Clarifications cutoff for requests for clarification or further information will not be accepted on or after the date that is 3 business days prior to the closing date.

Direct contact with any elected member of council or local government employee regarding any part of this tender, other than those listed in schedule 1 item 5, is prohibited. Any prohibited contact with a local government employee or elected member of council may result in the respondent or prospective respondent and their tender being disqualified from the tender process.

Tenders will be accepted until 12 noon on 6 August 2026.

An information session will be held on the 21st of July 2026 at the Sunshine Coast Council Caloundra Depot.
