Muswellbrook Shire Council is seeking experienced contractors for the refurbishment, relocation, and reinstatement of the heritage-listed Keys Memorial Gates in Olympic Park. The project involves heritage gate refurbishment, foundation and civil works, reassembly, and lighting installation. Submissions are due by 04 August 2026, 02:00 PM, via the GoToMarket platform. A site inspection is not scheduled but can be requested by contacting the procurement officer at least seven days prior to the closing date. The contract will be a lump sum based on the Minor Works Agreement. Evaluation criteria include price, WHS, experience, personnel, methodology, timeframe, subcontractor management, modern slavery mitigation, and local content.

The contractor shall rectify any defects or non-conformances identified during the defects liability period at no additional cost to council.
Quotations will be assessed based on weighted price, quality of WHS systems and performance, experience and capability, proposed personnel, construction performance methodology, timeframe for completion, management of proposed subcontractors and consultants, modern slavery mitigation maturity, and local content.
The contractor shall demonstrate experience in heritage structures restoration, conservation, relocation, or reconstruction, and have access to suitably qualified heritage tradespersons, stonemasons, and metal restoration specialists. Engagement of a suitably qualified design engineer for structural, electrical, and lighting design is also required.
A site inspection is not scheduled but respondents may request one by contacting the procurement officer at least seven calendar days prior to the tender closing date. Site inspections will be arranged by prior appointment only.
