The assessment criteria weightings are: Price (20%), Past Performance (10%), Local Content (30%), Capacity (20%), and Scope Specific Criteria (20%), totaling 100%.
The contractor must be a corporate entity properly managed and supervised by a natural person who is an Australian Property Institute (API) Valuer with Certified Practising Valuer (CPV) accreditation. Staff must hold the required qualifications and experience. Valuations can only be assigned by a valuer with CPV accreditation and either API or FAPI membership.
Physical inspections are required for specific sales in Tennant Creek. For Katherine, Batchelor, Alice Springs, and other rural/NTP properties, physical inspections are not always required but sales analysis is. The contractor must consult with the Valuer-General to determine which residential properties require mandatory inspection.
Objections to valuations must be lodged within 30 days after the date of notice posting. A further 30 days are allowed for the contractor and Valuer-General to discuss objections with the landowner, with objections to be finalised within 90 days of the notice posting date.
Late quotations may not be accepted. Failure to comply with contract requirements, including project plan timelines and response times, could lead to issues.
