The Bundaberg Regional Council is seeking quotations for the appointment of an independent external representative to the Audit and Risk Committee. The closing date for enquiries is December 22, 2025, and the closing time for offers is December 31, 2025. The consultant will be appointed for a four-year term, with the term commencement expected in February 2026. The evaluation criteria include compliance, price, qualifications, experience, understanding of the role, and professional standing. The respondent must provide additional information after the opening of offers if requested. The council is not liable for any costs incurred by the respondent. The consultant will be expected to deliver outcomes such as attendance at committee meetings, written advice, and critical analysis of documentation.
The consultant will be appointed for a four 4 year term and engaged under councils standard consultancy contract terms and conditions.
Remuneration will be provided on a permeeting basis.
In submitting an offer, the respondent warrants that it has carried out all relevant investigations.
Factors which will be taken into consideration by council in evaluating offers and respondents include: compliance, price, qualifications and experience, understanding of role and responsibilities, and professional and ethical standing.
Respondents must clearly demonstrate that they meet, at a minimum, the following requirements: extensive experience in financial management, auditing, risk management, or internal control frameworks within large or complex organisations.
The closing date for enquiries means the date and time specified in clause 3 or such other date as may be determined by council.
