This is a public tender for cleaning services at James Cook University's Townsville and Cairns campuses. The tender closes on Friday, 5th June 2026, at 3:00 PM AEST. In submitting a tender, the tenderer warrants that it has all necessary experience, skill and resources to perform its obligations under the draft contract, has not obtained any improper assistance in preparing its tender, its tender does not contain any false or misleading claims or statements, and complies with all applicable laws, has examined and acquainted itself with and satisfied itself concerning the contents of the request for tender, has considered all information that is relevant to the risks, contingencies and other circumstances which could affect its tender and is satisfied as to the accuracy, completeness and sufficiency of its tender, and any assumptions upon which tenderer bases its tender.
The tenderers offer will be evaluated against mandatory and qualitative criteria, and JCU is not evaluating offers on the sole criterion of price.

Tender briefings are recommended for Cairns campus and Yeinie Building on Thursday, 21st May 2026, and for Townsville campus on Friday, 22nd May 2026.

Any tenderer who directly or indirectly canvasses support from an employee, contractor, council member or agent of JCU will be disqualified and any tender submitted will not be considered.
