Controller Tenders

The council will have regard to, but not necessarily be limited to, the following criteria not listed in any order of priority: insurance, compliance with work, health and safety requirements, proposed methodology approach for provision of the services, customer service experience and capacity, the tendered prices, including the proposed pricing structure, the level of risk associated with negotiation of an acceptable contract for services, environmental management systems if applicable, northern region community and economic benefit to be achieved through a resulting contract, degree of compliance with the requirements set out in this rft and the tender documents and such other matters that council considers relevant.

Tenderers must have a current SA government department for infrastructure and transport DIT prequalification for the provision of workzone traffic management.

Continued inability to achieve performance measures for 6 consecutive months may end in contract termination.

The council may conduct a site industry briefing.

The council reserves the right to reject any tender submitted by a tenderer which contravenes this clause [tenderer not to solicit the council and its employees].

The council will seek to enter into a 3year agreement with the successful tenderer.

Tenders may be disqualified if they are late, illegible, incomprehensible, or if the respondent does not meet mandatory criteria. any tender lodged after the tender closing time or lodged at a location or in a manner that is contrary to that specified in this rft may, at agpcs sole and absolute discretion, be disqualified from the rft process.
