This is a Request for Tender (RFT) for the provision of cleaning services for Shire buildings. The contract term is three years with an option for a two-year extension. Respondents must submit their offers via the Vendor Panel portal. The RFT details the scope of requirements, cleaning specifications, and evaluation criteria, including compliance, qualitative, and price information. Key performance indicators will be used to assess the contractor's performance. The Shire of Murray is the issuing authority. Mandatory national police certificates are required for personnel. Insurance coverage and maintenance of registrations, licenses, and qualifications are also specified.
The closing date and time for submission of proposals is Monday 13 April 2026 at 2:00 PM Western Australian Standard Time.
The Shire must pay the contractor within thirty (30) days from the end of the month in which the goods and/or services have been accepted by the Shire, provided an invoice complying with clause 5. 35 has been received.
The contractor must give or ensure the Shire has the benefit of any warranties in accordance with clause 5. 14. If the manufacturer provides a warranty period in excess of the defects liability period, the contractor must assign the warranty to the Shire.
A contract may be awarded to the respondent whose offer best demonstrates its ability to deliver the goods and/or services to a high standard at a competitive price. The Shire is not bound to accept the lowest offer.
Respondents must ensure that both they and their subcontractors (if applicable) have all the registrations, licenses, and/or qualifications required by law to carry out and/or provide the goods and/or services specified in this RFT.
On the third breach of clause **** or **** throughout the contract term, a $100 charge will be applied as an offset against any payment due to the contractor, in addition to the cost of any security callout.
There are no mandatory briefings or site inspections forming part of this request for tender. Respondents are expected to make themselves aware of the location and details of all buildings. Access to locked and alarmed buildings will be made available on request and by appointment during normal business hours.
Where the specification requires the contractor to submit samples to the superintendent, such samples must be submitted in duplicate.
