Metro North Hospital and Health Service (MNHHS) is seeking to establish a contract for Closed System Transfer Devices (CSTD). Mandatory requirements include ARTG certification, compliance with ISO **** and ISO ****, meeting NIOSH definition of CSTD, traceable UDI, sterile packaging evidence, microbial barrier/sterility maintenance, conforming insurance, compliance with Queensland Government Supplier Code of Conduct, and response to all applicable sections of Part C. Desirable criteria include sterile product marking, quantified residual/lost volume, disclosure of limitations, product compatibility, tactile/audible/visual confirmation, compatibility with infusion pumps, service line education plan, lead times, stockholding, shortage contingencies, compatibility with automated compounding solutions, latex status, and a transition management plan.
