Balranald Ben Scott Memorial Trail - The Ben Scott Memorial Bird Trail, a key component of the Tri- Avian Corridor and a major tourism asset for the Balranald region, sustained significant damage during the AGRN **** flood event in November 2022. Balranald Ben Scott Memorial Trail Remediation Project Existing trail remediation: assessment and remediation of the existing trail surface to restore a safe utilising similar materials, consistent walking grade. Trail extension: construction of a new 400m extension to the east of the existing trail. Materials must be consistent with the existing compacted trail surface. Timber section replacement: removal of existing timber sections and replacement with a suitable, environmentally friendly system e. g. , composite decking or sustainable alternative. Suspended concrete paving: survey review and necessary adjustments levelling of the existing suspended concrete paving system. Raw water line remediation: cleaning and clearing of the raw water line located at the balranald motorbike track to restore flow to the lagoon infrastructure.
