Transport for NSW is seeking tenders for the construction of a replacement vehicular ferry for the Berowra Creek crossing. The contract involves the fabrication and supply of a steel hull and steel components. A mandatory pre-tender meeting will be held on Microsoft Teams on Tuesday, 24 March 2026, at 11:00 am. Tenderers must be registered on the Buy NSW Supplier Hub. Compliance with the NSW Government Supplier Code of Conduct and NSW Industrial Relations Guidelines is required. Tenders will be assessed on the basis of best value for money, considering factors such as tender price, integrity of its structure, financial position, quality system, suitability of personnel and equipment, proposals for management of safety and other aspects, claims history, record of compliance with codes, and other criteria listed in Annexure CT3.
To be eligible to tender, you must have an accredited WHS management system if applicable, attend the pre-tender meeting, and attend the site inspection if any.
Substantiated reports of unsatisfactory performance may result in future opportunities for NSW Government work being curtailed.
