The Queensland Government is seeking to establish a Preferred Supplier Panel (PSP) with qualified building contractors to support the delivery of the ongoing social housing program. The PSP will remain valid for three years from the PSP commencement date, with the option for an additional two years, at the discretion of the client. The supplier must hold an active Australian Business Number (ABN), be registered as a QBuild registered contractor, be registered with the Queensland Government Prequalification (PQC) system, hold a current and valid QBCC builders license specific to the dwelling sizes, hold public liability minimum $20 million, have workers compensation as required by the Workers Compensation and Rehabilitation Act ****, and hold professional indemnity minimum $1 million for design and construct delivery type only. The closing date for submissions is March 12, 2026.
The supplier warrants that all representations, warranties, declarations, statements, information and documents made or provided by the supplier including its representatives in connection with the psp submission, psp or contract, are complete, accurate, up to date and not misleading in any way.

Where the supplier fails to meet KPIs two or more times during the PSP term, the supplier may have a suspension placed for the period stipulated in the written notice issued by the clients representative to the supplier, whereby the supplier will not receive further request for offers issued pursuant to the PSP. Any noncompliance of the mandatory requirements may result in a termination or suspension of the PSP between the supplier and the client.
