This is a Request for Information (RFI) for the replacement of clock bodies and mechanisms for the Australian Parliament House clock system. The National Gallery of Australia is seeking submissions for a plumbing and hydraulic maintenance contract for its Parkes and Hume facilities. The contract will run from October 1, 2025 to September 30, 2027, with two one-year extension options. Responses must be submitted electronically via Austender by September 9, 2025, 11:30 PM ACT local time. An industry briefing and site inspection is scheduled for August 26, 2025, at 10:00 AM. The customer will exclude from participation any potential supplier that does not demonstrate compliance with the specified requirements. The contract will include primary services (regular maintenance) and extended services (additional work). The supplier must comply with all applicable Australian standards and the Commonwealth Supplier Code of Conduct. The customer will evaluate all valid responses received by the closing time to determine the best value for money outcome. Additional contract terms include intellectual property rights, payment terms, primary and extended services, rise and fall volume of work, sustainable procurement, fair work clause, indigenous procurement policy, and modern slavery.

The Department of Housing and Works requires a required price breakdown as per the attached template, all ACM pricing needs to be identified separately per property if applicable, and the formal quote on company letterhead together with all supporting documentation to the lake maintenance project mailbox. A draft service delivery program (SDP) needs to be supplied together with the quote, illustrating the lead time in weeks to mobilize to the site, and the lead time in weeks to complete all works as per scope of works. Subcontractors, their employees, and contractors must complete onboarding inductions prior to commencing work on site. Incomplete submissions will be rejected. Works will only be deemed completed and paid after all scope requirements are submitted (e. g. , before and after photos, waterproofing photos, reports, etc. ). Subcontractors are to follow the appropriate protocols when entering/leaving remote communities.
