The Torres Strait Island Regional Council is seeking quotations for Dismod **** various works at Lot 25 Mogor Village, Erub. The closing date for submissions is July 1, 2026, at 2 PM. Responses must be submitted via the Vendor Panel portal or by email. The evaluation will be based on best value for money, considering both price and non-price criteria. All specifications are attached for download. Contractors must complete the quotation form and response schedules accurately; non-conforming submissions may be disqualified. The contract will be awarded to the respondent who best demonstrates the ability to provide best value for money. Quotation validity period is 90 days. Insurance requirements include $20,000,000 for public and product liability. A defect liability period of 12 months applies. Specific site conditions related to community access, permits, and cultural heritage must be adhered to. Work is subject to restricted hours (8 am to 5 pm) unless prior approval is obtained. Payment is lump sum on completion, with progress claims considered upon request. Contractors are responsible for obtaining all necessary permits and paying associated costs, including for community access and building permits.

The contractors lump sum price breakdown is fixed and inclusive of all taxes, including gst, insurance, freight, staff travel, accommodation and delivery costs including costs associated with the return of supplies wrongly supplied or defective supplies.
A defect liability period of 12 months from the completion date is required. The contractor must, at no additional cost, remedy any defect in the works within 30 days of being notified by tsirc.
The engagement of services shall be awarded to the respondent who best demonstrates the ability to provide best value for money. The quoted price and relevant nonprice criteria will be assessed together to determine the most advantageous outcome for the principal.
Respondents must provide an overview of their experience and past performance in projects of similar nature, scope, and size, as well as details of experienced personnel and current contractual work commitments.
If works are not completed within the requested timeframe, TSIRC nominated representatives have the authority to remove the system work order from the contractor and undertake work by other means. If you fail to do so, tsirc may, at the contractors expense, arrange for a third party contractor to undertake the remedial work on the contractors behalf.
Attendance at site inspection is listed as 'na' (not applicable).
The RFQ will be classed as non-conforming if the lump sum price breakdown schedule line breakdowns have been amended, or if the quotation form and response schedules are not completed. if the quotation form and response schedules are not completed the rfq will be classed as non- conforming ( items 7. 1 through to 7. 8)
