The Central Highland Regional Council is inviting submissions from competent suppliers to relocate the existing pump shed pumps within the McIndoe Park complex. The closing date for submissions is February 6, 2026. The project includes cutting a new pad, installing a concrete pad, running pipes, relocating pumps, and removing the existing concrete tank. The contract defines completion date as the date specified in schedule 1 or the request for supply if applicable by which the supply must achieve completion.
Payment terms are within 30 days of the last day of the month in which the invoice is received.
The contractor warrants that any goods supplied will be new, except to the extent expressly stated in schedule 1, schedule 2 or an applicable request for supply.
The selection criteria are price (60%), relevant experience (20%), local business (5%), and program of works (15%).
The tenderer is required to provide details of a previous project it has completed similar to this project.
If the contractor fails to achieve completion by the completion date or fails to complete a supply by the relevant key supply date if applicable, the contractor will be liable to council for liquidated damages at the rate stated in schedule 1 or the request for services if any, for every day after the completion of the supply, or up to and including the date that completion is achieved or the relevant supply is completed by the contractor as determined by councils representative acting reasonably or the date that the contract is terminated pursuant to clause 30, clause 7. 2 whichever is sooner.
