Macedon Ranges Shire Council is seeking tenders for the supply, delivery, and installation of three modular buildings at the MRSC Sports Precinct. The project includes two player change rooms and one amenities building. Key responsibilities for the contractor include design coordination, supply, delivery, installation, commissioning, associated civil works, service connections, fitout, and obtaining necessary approvals. The tender closes on Tuesday, 9th June 2026, at 2:00 PM. A non-mandatory pre-tender site inspection is scheduled for Friday, 22nd May 2026, at 10:00 AM.
The contract for practical completion is expected by August 2026, as indicated in item 4 of the schedule.
The council shall pay for successfully completed contract works within 30 days from receipt of an invoice, which should be submitted by the contractor at the end of each calendar month.
The contractor shall provide a suitable warranty on all parts, materials, and workmanship, which will be in addition to standard product warranties. During the defects period, the contractor shall repair or replace or make good defects or failures within 14 days of notification.
Tender responses will be evaluated based on price (40%), relevant experience (30%), methodology (10%), compliance with the specification (10%), environmental benefit (5%), and social benefit (5%). Workplace health and safety, risk and insurance, and conflicts of interest are pass/fail criteria.
Tenders will only be accepted from persons or organisations with whom or which it is capable of entering a contract, such as natural persons, partnerships, companies, or incorporated associations. Tenderers must be suitably qualified and experienced contractors.
If the contractor fails to reach practical completion by the date for practical completion, the contractor shall be indebted to the principal for liquidated damages at the rate of $550 per day.
A non-mandatory pre-tender site inspection will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, 22nd May 2026, at the Macedon Ranges Sports Precinct Netball Courts Football Oval Precinct, 153b Hamilton Road, New Gisborne. Attendance must be registered via Vendorpanel.
The tenderer shall not appeal against or challenge any decision made by council or its delegated officer in relation to the acceptance or rejection of any tender.
Any tenderer who directly or indirectly seeks to obtain an advantage by the canvassing of support from a councillor or member of council's staff, or a member of the evaluation panel, will be disqualified.
