The closing time for submissions is 4 pm AEST on Thursday, 6th August 2026.

Tenders will be evaluated by reference to value for money, open and effective competition, the development of competitive local business and industry, environmental protection, and ethical behaviour and fair dealing.

A site inspection may be held at the request of the contractor.

Supplier queries must be submitted by Wednesday, 05 August 2026, 03:00 am E. South America Standard Time.

Failure to comply with any requirement in clause 5. 1 will not relieve the tenderer of responsibility to complete the contract in accordance with its terms. Submissions may be rejected if they do not comply with the requirements of the request for tender.

The tender closes on 7th August 2026 at 4:00 PM. Tenderers must allow adequate time for their tender, including all supporting documentation, to upload to the Vendor Panel by the tender closing time.

Payment terms are within 30 days of the last day of the month in which the invoice is received.

All goods and associated services must be provided with a minimum twelve (12) month warranty covering fitness for purpose, merchantability, and compliance with specifications. This includes all transport costs to and from the nearest appropriate repair centre and responsibility for arranging and completing warranty work.

The evaluation criteria are: Price 30%, Suitability and Fit for Purpose 55%, Local Business Development 5%, and Availability and Delivery Timeframe 10%.

Suppliers must complete the '01 Compliance' and '02 Supplier Info' sections of the mandatory returnable workbook. The contract also states that the contractor must have the necessary experience and an appropriately qualified and trained workforce to carry out the supply.

The contract mentions liquidated damages applying to key supply dates, but states o liquidated damages apply but councils right to claim general law damages is preserved.

Supplier query cutoff is Wednesday, 05 August 2026 at 1:00 AM.

The contract states that failure to comply with certain clauses, such as providing a statutory declaration that is untrue, false, or misleading, can lead to termination and potential claims against the contractor.

The agreement is expected to commence on 8 October 2026 and conclude on 7 October 2030, with an option for a one-year extension. Specific treatment dates and work programs will be agreed upon throughout the agreement period.

Tenders will be evaluated to identify the tender that represents best value for money, considering both cost and technical aspects, and the risk profile of the tenderer and their tender.

Tenderers must demonstrate experience in weed management, hold relevant licences, have the capacity to mobilise personnel and equipment to the park, maintain insurances, comply with legislation and policies, and demonstrate experience working safely in remote and culturally sensitive environments.

The deadline for submission of tenderer questions is 12:00 PM Northern Territory time on Thursday, 6 August 2026.

Tenders may be excluded from consideration if they fail to comply with minimum content and format requirements, conditions for participation, essential requirements, or if they contain viruses. Late tenders, incomplete tenders, or corrupted files will also be excluded.

Tenders must be received by council by 2:00 PM, Thursday 6th August 2026. Applicants for supply are to state a firm delivery date.

Council will forward payment for the purchase of the new vehicle or plant upon delivery and receipt of tax invoice showing the GST amount. Where purchased, an approved payment in full will be required prior to the successful applicant being granted delivery.

Warranty, service and parts support is one of the tender assessment criteria.

Tenders will be assessed on the following criteria: tendered price, anticipated resale value, whole of life cost, delivery date, operational capability, mechanical assessment, operator assessment, warranty, service and parts support, user testimonial.

All tendered prices are to be GST inclusive. Tenders for all new vehicles and plant shall comply with all statutory and Australian standard requirements of both the Commonwealth and NSW governments. Careful completion of council's tender form is essential. All relevant information sought in the suppliers data section must be included.

Tenders for non-conforming vehicles or plant may be lodged but shall be accompanied by a conforming tender and reason for nonconformance with the tender specifications.
