The time for completion for inspections is 8 calendar weeks after the date of award of contract. For repairs, it is 16 calendar weeks after the date of award of contract.
Contractors can submit payment claims monthly. Payment is to be made within 15 business days after the date the contractor's payment claim was submitted.
A post-completion period of 52 calendar weeks applies, during which the principal may direct the contractor to make good defects.
Tenders will be evaluated based on price, delivery time, quality offered, previous performance, experience, capability, safety performance, environmental performance, conformity, and the assessed value of qualifications and departures.
Contractors must be suitably qualified and experienced. They must also be registered with VendorPanel and be a recognised, acceptable legal entity registered for GST.
The contract includes provisions for termination by the principal for substantial breach, including failing to carry out instructions or progress works at a reasonable rate. The principal may also terminate for convenience.
Disputes must be notified in writing within 20 business days after the act or omission giving rise to the dispute.
Tenders may be passed over if they do not comply with any requirement of the RFT documents, or if they contain conditions or qualifications. The principal may also terminate the contract for substantial breach.
