This is an Approach to Market (ATM) for the provision of communications services for the Prime Minister's Prizes for Science. The Department of Industry, Science and Resources is seeking submissions to design and execute a communications strategy to maximize engagement with the prizes and their nominations. The strategy should aim to increase national awareness, media coverage, stakeholder engagement, and the number of nominations, with a focus on encouraging women and candidates from diverse backgrounds. The contract term is 12 months with a potential two-year extension. The maximum budget for this ATM is up to $279,400 including GST. Key deliverables include developing and implementing a communications strategy, media plan, stakeholder engagement plan, social media plan, digital content, and a nominations promotion plan. The successful supplier must demonstrate capability and capacity to deliver high-quality outputs within fixed timeframes, with a strong emphasis on working with First Nations stakeholders and ensuring cultural appropriateness. The proposed contract start date is 08/05/2026. Responses must be lodged via email by 3:00 pm ACT local time on 28 April 2026.
The contract term is for a period of 12 months from the date the contract is entered into, with a potential extension of one period of two years. The proposed start date for the contract is 08/05/2026.
The department must pay the amount of a correctly rendered invoice to the successful supplier within twenty (20) calendar days after receiving it, or if this day is not a business day, on the next business day.
The department will evaluate all valid responses received by the ATM closing time that meet the minimum content and format requirements and the conditions for participation to determine which potential supplier has proposed the best value for money outcome for the department.
Potential suppliers and any subcontractors must not be insolvent, bankrupt, in liquidation, or under administration or receivership as at the closing time. They must also not be named as non-compliant with the Workplace Gender Equality Act **** CTH by the Workplace Gender Equality Agency as at the closing time.
Unless otherwise notified by an addendum, there are no site inspections for this ATM.
Questions will be permitted up until 5:00 pm on 21/04/2026.
The maximum budget for this ATM is up to $279,400 including GST.
