This is a public tender for the provision of design and site investigation services for the Kiwarrak Off River Water Storage Scheme. The scheme comprises two separable portions: Portion A for embankment and appurtenant structures design, and Portion B for pump station and pipeline design. Tenderers are required to submit responses for both portions. A mandatory pre-tender briefing and site inspection will be held on Thursday, 23 April 2026. Responses must be submitted via the VendorPanel platform by the closing date of Thursday, 14 May 2026. All questions must be raised via the VendorPanel forum by Friday, 08 May 2026. Mandatory assessment criteria include meeting insurance requirements, holding a third-party accredited quality management system (ISO **** or equivalent), and attendance at the compulsory tender briefing by a senior representative. Weighted assessment criteria include appreciation of the project, methodology, risk management, key personnel experience, company experience, proposed program, quality/safety/environmental management, and fee proposal. The contract term will be determined by the successful tenderer's submitted program. Midcoast Council reserves the right to award one or both portions.
