Failure to comply with all requirements of the Request for Quote may result in an offer being considered non-conforming. Breach of warranty may lead to disqualification or contract termination.

Tenders will be assessed based on corporate capacity, project experience, sustainability and innovation, local preference, and price.

Tenderers must meet mandatory requirements including a completed and signed tender form, completed tender schedules, and satisfaction of specified criteria. Evidence of QBCC licensing is required if building work is involved.

Supplier queries must be submitted by Tuesday, 02 June 2026, 01:00 AM.

Tenders may be rejected if the tenderer has offered a bribe, discusses the tender with unauthorized council personnel, or if their conduct reflects negatively on the council. Tenders may also be rejected if the tenderer or its personnel are deemed an excluded person.

Tender responses must be submitted by 3:00 PM AEST on Thursday, 11 June 2026.

Council will pay correctly rendered invoices within 14 days of receipt, based on the schedule of rates for services supplied.

Tenders will be assessed based on best value for money, with criteria including cost (40%), experience, capability and resources (50%), and Work Health and Safety systems (10%).

Tenderers must be suitably qualified contractors and hold current water carrier registration. Evidence of WHS systems and practices is also required.

Late tenders will not be considered. Failure to comply with WHS requirements or provide evidence of water carrier registration may lead to disqualification.

The estimated value is between $300,000 and $500,000.
