The contractor is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, planting, and maintaining trees for 3 years (with options for extension). Planting must occur in two periods: July to October and April to June. Maintenance includes watering, weeding, pruning, and pest control. A two-year warranty applies from the planting date. Penalties may apply for more than 5 tree losses per season. Electronic recording using the city's asset management system is required.
The first planting period must have all trees planted by mid-October, and the second period by June 30, unless directed otherwise. the first period shall commence on 1 july, with all trees to be planted by midoctober.
Payment will be made upon submission of tax invoices by the contractor, in accordance with council's payment policies. payment for services or works will be made by the principal on submission of tax invoices by the contractor

Staff must be suitably trained and qualified, with at least one employee holding a Certificate III Horticulture. at a minimum, the contractor shall provide an employee who is qualified with a certificate iii horticulture
