Sports oval lighting replacement Replacement of lights on existing poles at the football field on Thursday Island. Use existing lighting poles, subject to inspection and approval. Lighting design to meet recreational/training low- level requirements of minimum 100 lux at 50% capacity and up to a minimum of 200 lux for competition games. Remove existing lighting. Replace with LED Raptor lights or equivalent ( currently 4 per pole, 16 total). Install new drivers in the base of each pole. Reticulate around the field and run new cable to each pole as per specifications. Install new wiring/control system to dim lights to preferred levels for training and games ( preference of 3 settings: 50%, 75%, 100%). Include elevated work platform hire on island if possible. Light poles are 18m high. Install communication lines to each pole to suit future BMS infrastructure in separate conduit with minimum electrical conduit to be installed ( 65mm).
