This Request for Quotation (RFQ) is for the installation of bathroom handrails and a ramp at Lot 80 New Village Street, Mabuiag. The closing date for submissions is 24th August 2026 at 2 pm. Submissions can be lodged via the Vendor Panel portal or by email. The contract will be awarded based on best value for money, considering both price and non-price criteria. All specifications are attached for download. The contractor must complete the quotation form and response schedules accurately; any amendments to the price breakdown schedule will result in a non-conforming RFQ. A defect liability period of 12 months applies. The contractor is responsible for obtaining all necessary permits and paying associated costs, including those related to working in Torres Strait Island communities and potential quarantine/isolation requirements.

The contractor will be paid within 30 days of receiving a valid tax invoice, provided satisfactory evidence of completed works is received. Payment is lump sum on completion, with progress claims considered upon request.

The engagement of services shall be awarded to the respondent who best demonstrates the ability to provide best value for money. The quoted price and relevant non-price criteria will be assessed together to determine the most advantageous outcome for the principal.
Respondents must provide an overview of their experience and past performance in projects of similar nature, scope, and size, as well as details of the experienced personnel involved in the delivery of the works.
If works are not completed within the requested timeframe, TSIRC nominated representatives have the authority to remove the system work order from the contractor and undertake work by other means.
Attendance at site inspection is not applicable (NA).
If the line breakdowns for the 7. 3 lump sum price breakdown schedule have been amended, the RFQ will be classed as non-conforming. If the quotation form and response schedules are not completed (items 7. 1 through to 7. 8), the RFQ will be classed as non-conforming.
