Tenders are invited for a scheduled bus transfer service for the Three Capes Track experience in Tasmania. The service will transport up to 48 passengers daily between Fortescue Bay Campground and Port Arthur Historic Site, operating seven days a week, year-round. The closing date for tenders is 3:00 PM, Tuesday, 14 July 2026. Tenderers must hold or demonstrate the capacity to obtain specific accreditations and licenses, including passenger transport operator accreditation and ancillary certificates. A Tasmanian Industry Participation Plan (TIPP) may be required if the contract value exceeds $5,000,000. Tenders must be lodged on or before 3:00 PM, Tuesday, 14 July 2026, Hobart time. The principal reserves the right to extend the closing time.
Tenders will be evaluated based on capability to deliver the service (25%), demonstrated availability of resources (15%), risk to the principal (5%), price (25%), and economic and social benefits statement (30%).
Tenderers must hold or demonstrate the capacity to obtain passenger transport operator accreditation, vehicles registered as public passenger vehicles, ancillary certificates for drivers, and Tourism Industry Council Tasmania accreditation.
Potential suppliers must not inspect sites relevant to the delivery of supplies except in accordance with a site inspection arranged with the contact officer. The principal may refuse to allow site inspections.

A tender may be excluded if the tenderer has breached the RFT, has deficiencies in prior contract performance, or if accepting the tender would result in an unacceptable contract outcome or pose unacceptable risks.
